West Mersea July 06
Some of the houseboats at West Mersea. The atmosphere was a bit murky today, a mist was coming in from the sea at times, it tends to wash colour out.
A view across the Mersea Quarters towards a misty River Blackwater. The colouring in the water is mud and sand washed along the shore and then carried by the incoming tide. The swimmer is not bothered, the colouring hardly notices at ground level.
A very popular place for any with an interest in boats.
